Olney
Bill (a.k.a. "Mr. Melone", or "Mr.") has been a teacher for nearly 5 years. I have major respect for what he does. His new job is at Olney High, which is not the "Olney High" that most Philadelphians recognize. It's now "Olney Charter High School" and is run by a fantastic organization called Aspira (http://aspira.org). We love what they are doing to change the face of Philadelphia public schools. I'm so excited that kids who once didn't get challenged academically are now in a place where they really are getting challenged -- they need it. Even if they don't seem like they want it -- they need people who believe in them, validate them, and love them.
