last week we got our wish for a snow day. after breakfast, we headed out into the snow and hung out with some neighborhood kids. our neighbor, chris (below), taught grace how to throw snow in our faces. awesome! grace went down the hill a few times, but after that she refused... it was a big hill. that afternoon i made hot cocoa for us, the "real" kind, with cocoa powder... :)
these kids were so cute... the girl's name is "miracle"! her grandma told me that she was born a preemie...and is four now. what a doll. i loved how shy she was at first, and then after a few minutes she was my best friend. as soon as we hit the bottom of the hill, she said, "again!"
