In August, we visited FDR: a little park in South Philly -- close to I-95, a big skate park, and the stadiums. The gazebo shown here, along with a few other spots along the way (ruins of an old fountain, stone walls) reminded us both of our days in Rome as Tyler students. (Minus the green sludge that fills the huge pond at the center!) It needs a little TLC, but the park made a great spot for a picnic. We're thankful for whatever "green" we can get in our city!
